An OEM giant, LG, known for its slacking smartphone sales over the past few years is now looking to make a comeback with their flagship model LG G7, which is also being called as ThinQ.
A recent leak has confirmed that 5 new colors of the Android smartphone will NOT be boring.
Instead, these would be five fresh and rare colors.
- Platinum Grey
- Moroccan Blue
- Moroccan Blue (Matte)
- Raspberry Rose
- Aurora Black
Perhaps black isn’t entirely “new” or “rare,” but it would be interesting to see how LG G7 would embody this color. Also, given that Grey, especially, Platinum Grey, is far more cooler and luxurious-seeming than the regular grey, it’s no doubt that LG would do it justice. Take a look at the image below to get a feel for the style.
What could trigger the sale of LG G7 ThinQ?
Maybe the most popular colors from the lot would be Raspberry Rose and the two versions of Blue, which are truly very rare. Nobody, including the Apple and Samsung, has so far come up with either of these colors.
There’s no doubt that LG needs a definite win in 2018. The G6 was a major disappointment and G7 (previously rumored to be called something else) promises many improvements in terms of Artificial Intelligence and it also features the famous iPhone adaptation- The Notch!
Besides the similar appeal on the forefront, the backside would contain a fingerprint scanner and a dual mounted camera. Controversially, there’s supposed to be an AI assistant which will be operated via a ‘Button.’ Now that’s an interesting add-on.
When’s the launch?
The LG G7 ThinQ is expected to launch sometime in the late second quarter, that is by the end of June. We will keep you updated as we know more.
