Nobody knew that Vivo made an announced regarding the release of Vivo Y71 smartphone in India. Apparently, there’s no hype around this mid-range economical device.
Tech Specs
Hardware:
Vivo Y71 sports a Snapdragon 450 chipset with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It also comes with an expandable external memory unit via a MicroSD card.
Camera:
The backside consists only one 13MP camera, while the selfie snapper is only 5MP.
Groundbreaking features:
An interesting aspect of Vivo Y71 is that it neither consists of a rear-mounted fingerprint scanning sensor nor does it have a button on the front side acting as a sensor.
Instead, the Y71 has got a dual functionality for the front-facing 5MP camera that also acts as a Face Unlock scanner. Only iPhone X embodies this technology so far, in other words, face unlocking is the only way to access this phone.
Battery:
Powering the device is a 3,360mAh battery which is great for a mid-scale phone such as the Y71. Also read: Nokia 1 Android GO budget smartphone has finally arrived in India and it is promising.
Firmware:
Users of Vivo Y71 would certainly benefit from having an Android Oreo’s latest update 8.1, certainly nowhere to be found on other medium range phones.
Pricing:
With a uni-metal body design and slim look with sharp features, Vivo Y71 is expected to go on sale for Rs. 10,990 starting around mid-June. So, keep your eyes peeled, because we will!
